22 year old here and in my high school years I was straight backed, posture perfect and was athletic. After I had my daughter, I ALWAYS carried her on my left side of the hip and ended up curving my hip and caused my back to curve as well. Now I am on the road to fix my posture and straighten up my scoliosis 😅

Good education, thanks! SI goes out of alignment and then the pain refers to the greater trochanter when getting aligned. Bridge is all that will help this? Anything bilateral sure does inflame the issue

Doc you were having a flare up in a video you posted a while back and you were going to use mindset and your system to control it. How'd it go? are you back to pain free? I Just started your program. I'm borderline grade 2 isthmic spondylolisthesis. Have kept it pain free for nearly 30 years with few flare ups. Does take constant work as I still surf and play basketball. hoping your program is what I need to add to arsenal to keep surgery away in 50s and beyond. (Almost no disc left between L4/L5 as spondy at L4 level) but feels good so I'll keep going 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’ve had a spinal fusion and now SI joint issue so I learned any type of lunge movement, even stagnant causes trouble. I don’t teach yoga anymore because of it. I get a lot of popping, esp on my right. I get back, pelvic and glute pain. The other day I sat crossed legged on my mat and I’m stiff so I don’t do it often. But it really helped my pain. I can’t do any of those pigeon poses either. No deep squats either. My SI issue appeared after l4-5 fusion but only after a ridiculous twisting chiropractic adjustment. I do some isometric pushing out exercises to strengthen my SI. Laying down with one knee bent and pushing that knee into my hand. It helps too. Surprised how much. I used to teach yoga and Pilates and train so I know the anatomy. This is so correct!

Everything I watched in this video is true. I felt you truly suffered from this pain. I am 36 years old and I have never got an issue on my back. But thankfully I was over the worst and it took almost 5 months to be at 90 % . What I liked most about your tips was the last one: be thankful because I guess I am keeping struggling with that thought beacuse I know I am ready enoguh to do whatever I want but my back's movements start to act up because I kind of think I am going to injure myself again. So I work myself into a state which I suppose is a matter of time. I really appreciate your piece of advice as I reckon the problem comes down to the feeling of fear. So thanks a bunch.

Wow Doctor. I have numerous chronic Spinal Issues including but not limited to multiple sites of mild to moderate stenosis, Spondyliosis of the vertebrae and facet Joints, form head to toe, Dextroscoliosis of 25 degrees, SI Joint Inflammation, and a Leg Length Discrepancy (1 " shorter right leg) since I was 16 after a femur fracture in 1966. I'm 72 now, and effects of that LLD for 55 years has been immense. Now I have Pelvic Floor problems as well, Cervical Instabilities, and pretty severe Degenerative Disc Disease. L3, L3 disc bulges and L5 - S1 Spondylioethesis. How do I learn more from you about Pubic Bone Forward movements ? I have seen your full YT video on Pelvic Floor issues which were extremely enlightening and made me a Subscriber!
